Our mission is to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions from electricity production, home heating, cooling, cooking, and transportation in our community through definable & trackable metrics.
Purpose
The Kent Woodlands Carbon Neutral Initiative sets goals and promotes actions that will be the most impactful in responding to the ever more urgent threats presented by climate change in 2023, and beyond.

The goals of the Task Force are to support our community on a path to carbon neutrality and 100% fossil free living. We aim to achieve our goals through community engagement and education.
Meeting California State Goals
California State has set climate action goals to reduce statewide greenhouse gas emissions by 48% reduction by 2030. Our actions will help California meet this important goal.
